SkyBitz Secures
$10 Million in Additional Growth Capital.

Investment in new product development continues at SkyBitz, fueled by $10 million in Series D funding. Spurred by outstanding market-place acceptance, this growth capital will be used to support development of new applications and service. It's building on the company's work with more than 320 fleets and over 125,000 assets.

All of North America is Now SkyBitz Country.

We've added Mexico coverage in partnership with Grupo Pegaso of Mexico City. Mexico is the third leg in our North American coverage, rounding out the United States and Canada. SkyBitz de Mexico will support Mexico-based fleets with Grupo Pegaso overseeing sales and marketing, and product development continuing at SkyBitz's U.S. headquarters.

The routes you cover, the cities you travel, the yards you work - they aren't round. That means circular radius landmarks may not be providing you the detail you really need for precise tracking. USA Logistics Carriers switched to SkyBitz Smart Sensor Tracking because it wanted less information - but more accurate information - about its 1,500 trailers. Says Robert Long, vice president of financial development, "we only get a signal when [the trailer] moves." That's because Smart Sensor Tracking auto-

matically filters out non-essential starts and stops - such as traffic lights and fuel stops. "That gives a more accurate picture of where [the trailer] is at," adds Long.
