On February 2, USA Dry Van Logistics, LLC and USA Carriers and affiliated companies filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the Southern District of TX in Corpus Christi to reorganize the companies.  GE Capital, a prepetition lender, is providing debtor in possession (DIP) financing to fund the ongoing business while the company works through a restructuring.  Under this arrangement the company will be paying drivers, employees, carriers, fuel and other critical vendors as the company works with its customers to continue to deliver freight in a secure and timely manner. Management has hired outside professionals to assist with the plan of reorganization.  The debtors will provide updates on this website periodically.
